After pursuing a degree focused on creative writing and journalism, I fell forward into SEO in 2004. Based in Hawaii now, but I've lived and worked through California, Canada, the Caribbean, Central America, and India over twenty years. Projects with skincare brands, luxury hotels, travel companies, e-commerce stores, dating platforms, SaaS companies, farms, agribusiness operations, and surf businesses.

The Name
Plate lunch is Hawaii's working meal. Two scoops of rice, macaroni salad, your choice of protein. Started in the 1880s on plantation camps where Japanese, Filipino, Chinese, Portuguese, and Hawaiian workers brought food from home and ate together. By the 1930s, lunch wagons were selling it. It's what happened when people from different places shared lunch.
