Expert Quote
An expert quote is a quote from a credible source, such as a person who knows the subject, added to a page to back up what it says. In AI search, a 2023 study called GEO tested adding quotes from credible sources to web pages and measured how much of the AI answer's wording came from each page.

What Expert Quote means for your business
The GEO researchers tried this on a test search tool they built and on Perplexity, and adding quotes helped in both. That was 2023, and AI tools have changed since, so we'd treat it as a lead worth testing, not a rule.
We'd quote people by name, say what they do, and use only what they really said. Often the right expert already works for you. It might be the owner, a lead tech or the person who takes the hard calls. To get the quote, run a short interview, or use a talk they gave or an article you can link to. Outside experts help too, when the quote is accurate and you link to where they said it.
If your pages explain what you do but never let the people who know it speak, writing pages AI tools can quote is where we'd begin.
