Bing Places for Business
Bing Places for Business is Microsoft's free tool for adding or claiming your business listing so it shows up in Bing search results and on Bing Maps, with your hours, phone number, website and photos. In October 2025, Microsoft moved the tool to bing.com/forbusiness, where the old bingplaces.com address now sends you. You can import your listings from Google.

What Bing Places for Business means for your business
The Google import saves typing, and it copies whatever is on your Google profile, mistakes included. We'd fix the Google profile first, then import, then read the Bing listing line by line. Microsoft calls it an import and doesn't say it keeps the two in step, so we'd update both when your hours change.
Microsoft says its Copilot sends a few words to Bing when it needs current facts from the web. It doesn't say whether Bing Places listings feed those answers, so we wouldn't promise that. We'd still treat your listing as one more place where your name, hours and phone number need to match.
If Bing, Google and Apple Maps each show a slightly different version of your business, lining those listings up is part of the work we'd do.
