What Claude (Anthropic) means for your business
Anthropic's help page on web search says Claude uses a search tool when a question needs current information, and that every answer from a search includes citations you can click. The same page says its image results come from Bing. In the new Claude experience there's no search switch, and Claude searches when it helps.
When Claude doesn't search, it answers from what it learned in training, and Anthropic lists a training cutoff date for each Claude model. So we'd expect a buyer could get an older picture of your business unless the question sends Claude to the web. We'd ask Claude about you twice, once with a plain question and once asking it to search, and compare the two.
The same help page says Claude can read a whole web page when someone pastes its link and web search is on. A buyer weighing two quotes could paste both businesses' pages and ask which one fits. We'd make sure your page answers the questions that buyer would ask, like what's included, where you work and how to book.
